This wedding rocked.
Set to 80’s hair metal music all night, Dayna and Peter wed under the falling moss of Myakka River State Park in Sarasota last night. Dayna was stunningly beautiful. From the handmade paper flowers to the photo booth set-up, she transformed a park pavilion into her storybook wedding. Everything was perfect and even a few alligator encounters and rain threats never materialized into anything.
It’s always a pleasure to photograph a bride who is really into making pictures. She knows light and definitely knew how to find it and pose. “That’s the sound of heaven” as my camera clicked it’s first rectangles of the day. It kind of makes my job to just be there and make sure to document it (just follow the dress). Both Peter and Dayna are awesome writers and were absolutely rad to work with in every way. Laid back, stress free and absolutely fun to be around. From camera clicks to sweaty hugs and selfies they definitely made me feel right at home and amongst friends. Beer flowed like wine, and Poison and Warrant blasted through the darkened skies over the swamp for one really awesome day.
Thanks again for having me and here’s to many, many more years of rocking out as only you two can.
