nicole + michael | fort zachary taylor + mangoe’s + orchid key inn | key west, fl

I’ve never seen a bride so ready to destroy her dress within 24 hours of her ceremony, but Nicole promptly made that thing a life preserver.

This was my second trip to Key West in seven days…and I can safely say that place is about as much tropical eye candy as you can get.  Nicole and Michael arranged their destination wedding for a fun group of family and friends who embraced the intimate tropical setting at every turn.  From the beautiful beach ceremony at Fort Zachary Taylor to the after-party at at Mangoe’s on Duval ending with a lantern release at the Southernmost point of the U.S., they definitely made my eyes happy.

A bride willing to cover her expensive dress in sand, climb trees, chase chickens, and take dips in the pool at Orchid Key Inn all for the sake of photos has a direct path to my heart.

Thanks Nicole and Michael for having me this weekend – and here’s to many, many years of happiness and hockey!

Dude. Unreal. I’m genuine when I say seriously THE BEST wedding pictures I’ve ever seen. All of these could be used for major publication to show off your talent. Looks like your new toy ( underwater case) works perfectly. Well done bro, well done.

    Jamie –

Thanks for the kind words! The ceremony was at R3 – and the photos on the seawall, and near the palms were at R2 (we snuck over there to make some photos as the sun set).
